Konrad Krakowiak, jeden z moich kilku dyplomantów (ilość rzadko przechodzi w jakość…), aktualnie post-doc na mitycznym MIT od 1 września przechodzi na University of Houston i szuka współpracowników.

We hope that you will accept the offer to join my research group in Spring 2017 as a supported student in the Civil Engineering Graduate Program. You will receive a stipend of $24,600 annually for conducting research under the supervision of Dr. Konrad J.Krakowiak. In addition, with an enrollment of 9 credit hours per semester, you will be eligible to receive the Doctoral Student Tuition Fellowship (DSTF) to cover your Spring 2017 and Summer 2017 tuition and fees . In order for your stipend to be extended you will be required to continue demonstrate excellent performance in your academics and research.

Szukam studenta do mojej grupy, którą tworzę na University of Houston, Civil Engineering Department. Taka osoba powinna być:
a) dobra z mechaniki teoretycznej,
b) metod komputerowych, FEM, DEM
c) mieć dobre rozumienie właściwości materiałów i metod ich badan aby współpracować z eksperymentatorami,
d) temat: komputerowe modelowanie procesów degradacji materiałów budowlanych.
Co oferuję – student dostaje stypendium około $2k/miesiąc i do tego stypendium/pomoc na pokrycie czesnego
